NepalPick policy
Editorial Method
NepalPick begins with sources that are relevant to the claim being made. Priority is given to the Nepal Tourism Board, Government of Nepal departments, protected-area authorities, municipalities, recognised community organisations, and credible registered travel businesses.
Research-based guides are not presented as firsthand travel reports. NepalPick does not invent stays, conversations, sightings, prices, or personal experiences. A named author and visit date will be shown when genuine firsthand reporting is published.
Time-sensitive details, including permits, guide requirements, roads, flights, opening arrangements, prices, and seasonal accommodation, should be reconfirmed before booking. Indicative itineraries are planning frameworks, not operational promises.
Editorial preference is given to locally owned services, fair treatment of guides and porters, community value, cultural consent, waste reduction, and responsible wildlife viewing. Paid relationships and affiliate links are disclosed and do not purchase favourable editorial ranking.
Guides carry a review date and links to core planning sources. Material corrections should be made transparently and as promptly as practical.
